HINT has partnered with
The FAITH Neighborhood Center, the leading non-profit
organization in South Lake County for providing aid to the
needy. They are currently servicing approximately 800
families per month and the number is growing daily. The
FAITH Neighborhood Center is part of the Human Care Network
(a group of 15 Lake Co. aid agencies under the leadership of
United Way and the Salvation Army). HINT donates non
perishable foods and clothing monthly, which are brought to the meetings
by members and then redistributed to FN Center. Members
will each donate at least one unwrapped toy for the month of
December for FN Center's Toy Give-a-way to needy children.
Jerry Colyer, director of the FN Center will
attend our December meetings to receive the toy
donations.
