The impetus behind Health Industry Networking Team or HINT was a small, but mighty contingency of health care entities in the South Lake area that came to the conclusion "local health care issues need to be addressed by local health care professionals." Since there was no group of this kind in this area, once the idea aired it seemed to take off, culminating with the initial meeting of more than 25 health-related persons March 2009 at a Clermont restaurant. The basic structure of the hour-and-a-half sessions each first Tuesday of the month will include healthcare networking before and during lunch, followed by a short presentation by a local health care professional or business group. HINT invites all area health-related individuals and businesses to join in focusing on community with a give-back spirit and adapt to the needs and wants of that community.  HINT now reaches out to all of Lake and Marion counties.

OUR VISION:
To collaborate in unison to build healthy and positive relationships among other health care providers with the objective to provide better services to our community and to our patients.
